It’s not every day surfers bother to paddle out at Huskisson, but this break delivered consistent right-hand waves for those who braved the cool waters.
The swell is set to die down, and it’s likely the bay will return to its usual calm by Wednesday.
There will still be plenty to paddle for along the coast, as a five-foot swell is forecast for south-facing beaches on Wednesday.
Seasoned surfers know winter brings good swell, so there will be more to come.
