Lloyd James Leslie Cooper, 28, of Basin View didn’t enter pleas to charges of police pursuit, high-range drink driving, reckless driving and consuming alcohol while driving when he appeared in Nowra Local Court on Monday.
Court papers said Cooper was spotted by police driving a Ford Falcon sedan on The Wool Road at St Georges Basin around 11.33am on April 14.
Officers allegedly activated their lights and sirens but Cooper failed to pull over.
When he eventually stopped he produced a positive breath test and later a high-range breath reading of 0.186. More than three times the legal limit.
Police also alleged he had “had two to three sips” of an opened can of Wild Turkey while driving.
He will reappear in court on May 21.
