NSW Rural Fire Service Shoalhaven district officer Bradley Collins said the service was asking private land owners to consider holding off undertaking any burning until the conditions ease.
“Friday will see some very windy conditions in the afternoon with westerly winds from 1pm gusting to 46km/h and up to 52km/h at 4pm,” Mr Collins said.
Weatherzone predicts a temperature of 22 degrees at Ulladulla and 23 degrees at Nowra on Friday.
