A 22-year-old man has been caught riding an unregistered motorcycle on a footpath at Mollymook on Good Friday.

About 2.55pm Friday police observed a man riding a motorbike without number plates on the footpath of Ocean Street, Mollymook.
He was stopped and arrested after returning a positive breath test.
He was taken to Ulladulla Police Station where he returned an alleged reading of 0.071.
The man was issued a future court attendance notice for the offences of unregistered and uninsured, low-range PCA, unlicenced – never held and ride on footpath.
Officers will be out in force during Operation Merret, running until 11.59pm on Monday, April 2 targeting drivers for dangerous behaviours on the roads; including speeding, drink and drug-driving, mobile phone use and not wearing seatbelts. Double demerits are also in force.
Police conducted 64,143 breath tests on day two of the operation, that’s 23,067 more than in 2017 during the operation.
