Goalkeeper White has had a strong pre-season, where he has lead through his actions at training and on game days.
White said it was a proud moment when he received the captain's armband in front of his teammates.
"It's an honour to be the first ever captain of the senior side,” White said.
"I'm looking forward to leading the side out and being a real role model, especially for the younger players.”
White will captain the side for the first time on Saturday night when the Flame takes on West Pennant Hills Cherrybrook in the FFA Cup.
The Flame also contains two other Shoalhaven products; Bomaderry’s Darren Jones and Culburra’s Martin Thomson.
