Ladies sifted through beautiful fabrics, and picked out material to use in their next project after gaining inspiration from the display.
The scones and tea were a hit, as people made a day of it.
“It’s a great community event,” Margaret Nicolls said.
“The recycled display has been a hit, it’s attracting a lot of attention.
“There are many creative people here, thanks to the volunteers who put it all together.”
Those who browsed were encouraged to vote for their favourite quilts.
The $5 entry fee and all funds raised will go towards local charities, along with Mercy Ships and Care Flight.
Around 100 quilts were on display at the charity event, along with stalls featuring everything a quilter could ever need.
