The regular group of singers were in good voice, and several people dropped in to listen to their music.
One of the visitors, Mark Holder-Keeping, asked if he could join in with his clarinet, and proceeded to play beautifully with musical director Julie Emery.
Mark teaches clarinet at the Wollongong Conservatorium of Music and was in Nowra visiting his dad, who lives at Osborne House.
Organiser Judy Potter said the “singing was even more energetic, the happiness on everyone’s faces a joy to behold, no one wanted to go home that morning”.
Judy thanked Julie and Mark for their contribution and encouraged Mark to return again.
Everyone is welcome to come to the Senior Citizen’s Centre, up the alleyway behind the Roxy Theatre, 33 Berry Street Nowra – starting at 10:30am every Friday morning except school holidays.
