Lily Morris, Cordelia Ewers and Darcy Woods attended UOW in the January holidays and spent three days learning all aspects of science, including anatomy, chemistry, biology and physics.
They also were able to use all the new facilities and labs available at UOW.
They learnt what it was like to be a university student and have access to all these facilities. The course also helped the students decide which field they would be suited to in their future studies.
The students said it was great for them to meet like minded students with the same passion as them for science.
Rotarians said the course was “a challenging but rewarding experience for these talented science students.”
This week the students gave a presentation to the Berry Rotary Club regarding their experience and expressed their gratitude to the club for sponsoring them.
The Berry Rotary Club is always looking at ways to sponsor local youth so they can be given great opportunities.
