A Nowra family was lucky to escape with only minor injuries after a truck collided with their four-wheel drive and caravan on the Princes Highway south of Termeil on Monday.

Police said the family had just set off on a caravan trip around Australia when a small truck crossed onto the wrong side of the highway at Cockwhy and struck their vehicle at about 1pm.
NSW Ambulance said a woman aged in her 30s, her husband and two children were taken to Batemans Bay Hospital with minor injuries and were later discharged.
The woman’s husband and two children were also admitted to hospital. The family was due to be released on Monday afternoon.
The driver of the truck was taken to Milton Hospital with an arm and hand injury, a NSW Ambulance spokesperson said.
