At Bomaderry Oval on Sunday, the hosts were sent in by Norths skipper Josh Francis – which played in the Tigers favour in the early stages.
Openers, Josh and Michael Coulter laid a strong platform for Bomaderry, making 20 and 17 respectively before being dismissed.
Norths then started to work their way back into the match when Zac Blattner was clean bowled by Hugh Gillen for 15.
The wickets continued to fall for Bomaderry, as Blake Munilla (eight), NIck Jennings (one) and Justin Ganderton (11) were dismissed – leaving the hosts at 6/63.
But a gritty 22 not out from Nick McDonald, along with starts from Mathew Bell (nine), Matt Hiriart (eight) and John Muggleton (four not out), guided the Tigers to 8/119 from their 20 overs.
With the white ball, Norths were best served by Justin Weller and Hugh Gillen, who finished with 2/27 and 2/35 respectively.
Other wicket takers for the visitors were Hayden Strand (1/4), Dean Tyson (1/9) and Damian Spelta (1/26).
In reply, Norths started terribly, falling to be 3/5 – as Dean Tyson (zero), Samuel Lowcock (one) and Justin Weller (three) were all dismissed.
The carnage continued as Luke Huard (two) fell cheaply, leaving Norths reeling at 4/15 – with both opening bowlers Michael Coulter and John Muggleton picking up two scalps each.
Norths then settled with Paul Davidson and Glenn Tyson at the crease – reaching 40 before the former was out for 18.
Big hitting by Glenn Tyson brought Norths back into the game, but when Jarryd Sue bowled him for 30 (from 24 balls) – the Tigers regained the ascendancy.
This wicket triggered a collapse for Norths – all at the hands of Bomaderry’s Justin Ganderton.
The first victim of Justin Ganderton was Jack Carter for six, before Hugh Gillen fell for one.
Ganderton would then go on to dismiss Hayden Strand (21) the very next ball before completing his hat-trick and sealing the win, with the dismissal of Damian Spelta for a golden duck.
Norths finished all out for 90, with Justin Ganderton, who was named man of the match, ending the match with figures of 4/10 from his three overs.
Other wicket takers for Bomaderry for Michael Coulter (2/10), John Muggleton (2/15), Jarryd Sue (1/22) and Mathew Bell (1/31).
