SURF fans will be able to watch Australia’s best boardriders clubs, including the Culburra Beach Boardriders Club and Ulladulla Boardriders, go toe-to-toe when the 2018 nudie Australian Boardriders Battle Series final gets underway on February 17-18 at Newcastle Main Beach.
A host of World Surf League (WSL) and free surf stars will all compete to help their respective clubs in the quest to be crowned Australia’s best.
Culburra Beach will welcome back two-time WSL women’s world champion Tyler Wright to their squad, which already boasts her two brothers Owen and Mikey.
Joining the Wright siblings in the Culburra Beach squad will be Ty and Jordy Watson, Keira and Beau Buckpitt and Jordan Dank.
While Ulladulla’s team will include Aidan Lewand-Parsons, Brett Burcher, Elliot Marshell, Katherine Turk and Kurt Nyholm.
Qualified teams: Burleigh Heads Boardriders Club, Snapper Rocks Surfriders, North Shore Boardriders Club, Point Lookout Boardriders Club, Scarborough Boardriders Club, Ulladulla Boardriders, Maroubra United Boardriders, Merewether Surfboard Club, Avoca Boardriders, North Steyne Boardriders, Byron Bay Boardriders, Le-ba Boardriders, Coffs Harbour Boardriders, Margaret River Boardriders Club, South Coast Boardriders, Phillip Island Boardriders Club, South Arm Boardriders, Culburra Beach Boardriders Club, Elouera Boardriders Club, North Narrabeen Boardriders Club, Bondi Boardriders, North Shelly Boardriders Club and Torquay Boardriders Club.
