Many children, along with their parents and carers, attended this well-attended event which was about bringing families together.
It proved to be a great and fun school holiday event.
The children, when they were not riding their bikes or scooters, took part in craft activities and also enjoyed a healthy morning tea.
Sanctuary Point Connect is planning more school holidays and details will appear soon on the group’s Facebook page.
The group offers a range of services including parenting courses, facilitated playgroups, support and referrals and its focus is on families with children (newborns to eight-years-of-age).
Sanctuary Point Connect was opened in 2006 and is currently facilitated by Christine McInerney Percy.
