After finishing in first place after the six regular season one day matches, Bomaderry will host the fourth-placed North Nowra-Cambewarra at Bomaderry Oval.
Key players for Bomaderry will be Blake Munilla, who scored 176 in his last innings, Nick McDonald, who is averaging 131.5 in his last three innings and Michael Coulter, who has 14 wickets this season.
While Norths will look to Luke Huard, who has 202 runs on the season, Cameron Fernie, who scored 79 last start and Hugh Gillen, who has 14 scalps in 2017/18, to lead them to victory.
The other semi-final will be hosted by Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens, who will battle Bay and Basin at Hayden Drexel Oval.
The Dolphins are the only team to inflict defeat on Ex-Servos this season and they will be confident they can do so again if the competition’s leading run-scorer Kyle Jarrett (398 runs) can continue his strong form.
Other keys for the Basin are skipper Michael Perry (281 runs), Liam O’Brien (249 runs and 20 wickets) and Nathan Tyrrell (228 runs and 13 wickets) and Darren O’Keefe (18 wickets).
For the hosts, captain Daniel Gleeson, the competition’s second leading run-scorer with 371 runs, is crucial.
His partnership with fellow opener Chris Bramley (218 runs) is one of the best in the competition and can take the game away from the opposition very quickly.
On the flip side, Ex-Servos’ Nate Jones leads the wicket takers list with 21 on the season, and should receive support with the ball, from Rodney Owen (11 wickets).
In second grade semi-final action, Nowra will host North Nowra-Cambewarra at the Nowra Showground and Berry-Shoalhaven Heads entertain Batemans Bay at the Berry Sporting Complex.
In thirds, Sussex Inlet battle Batemans Bay at Sussex Inlet Oval, as Nowra take on Bay and Basin at Lyrebird Park.
Finally, in fourth grade, Bomaderry host Berry-Shoalhaven Heads at the Bomaderry Sporting Complex and North Nowra-Cambewarra battle Bay and Basin at the Bernie Regan Sporting Complex.
All matches start at 10.30am.
