
A man and woman have been charged after police were called to a disturbance at Bendeela Camping Ground, Kangaroo Valley.

Police were called to the grounds by security about two people who were allegedly intoxicated and causing a disturbance at about 7pm on Friday night.
Police allege 39-year-old Wollongong woman used offensive language, then picked up a beer bottle which she threw at police.
After she was placed under arrest she then allegedly tried to assault a male police officer.
Capsicum spray was used to diffuse the situation.
Police allege a 43-year-old Wollongong man then involved himself in the situation, used offensive language and tried to hinder police arresting the female. The male was then also placed under arrest.
Both were taken to Nowra Police Station.
The man was charged with resist or hinder police in the execution of duty and use offensive language and the female was charged with assault police in execution of duty, resist or hinder police in the execution of duty and use offensive language.
Both accused will appear before Nowra Local Court on February 5, 2018.
