Leon Peter Hagel, 35, was given a 12-month suspended jail sentence after pleading guilty to driving while suspended, using an unregistered vehicle, driving with an illicit drug in his blood system and intimidating police.
Court papers stated Hagel was caught driving a Mitsubishi Lancer in Bellevue Street, South Nowra between 6pm and 6.40pm on April 1.
Tests allegedly revealed he had methylamphetamine and cannabis in his blood system.
Magistrate Gabriel Fleming also fined Hagel $2250 and suspended him from driving for eight months. He was also placed on a 18-month good behaviour bond.
