Nathan Falzon’s Malta easily account for Hungary

NOWRA-BOMADERRY Jets star Nathan Falzon has helped his Maltese nationals rugby league side defeat Hungary at Cabra Leagues New Era Stadium at the weekend.

A week after drawing with Italy 24-all, the Peter Cassar and Aaron McDonald coached side, which also contains Shellharbour Sharks’ Ian Catania, made light work of their opponents, winning 48-16.

Both Group 7 products, Falzon and Catania, scored tries in the win.

It was a good day for Maltese rugby league fans, as their under 16s team defeated Italy 27-nil at Cabramatta – a week after defeating the same opponent 22-20.
