On August 13 Nowra Toastmasters turned 37-years-old.
The club celebrated one of the seasoned members, Wolfgang Suehrer, on his 12 years of being a Toastmaster with the Nowra Club.
August also saw three club members representing the Nowra Club in the Area 30 humorous and table topic speech contest.
Big congratulations to Susan Kerr who came in second on the night for her humorous speech and table topics speech. Rosemary Brigden and Wolfgang also competed in the table topics.
There has also been a few new members and guests come along to meetings.
If you are interested in public speaking or wanting to learn to speak in public come along on the first and third Wednesday’s of each month from 7:30pm-9:30pm at the Ex-serviceman’s Sports Club, Worrigee.
