Four men and two women were arrested in the raids at Nowra, North Nowra, East Nowra and Bomaderry after investigations into the supply of illicit drugs in the area.
Officers seized drugs, cash and two firearms, one of which appears to be a homemade, in the series of raids.
Police executed several simultaneous search warrants across the city, with around 120 officers from a number of different commands and operational groups taking part.
Homes in Nowra, North Nowra, East Nowra and Bomaderry were raided.

Officers from Shoalhaven Local Area Command established Strike Force Arctic in April 2017 to investigate the supply of illicit drugs in Nowra.
Local police were assisted by Tactical Operations Unit (TOU), Police Dog Unit, Public Order and Riot Squad (PORS), Police Rescue and local area commands from Wollongong, Lake Illawarra, Far South Coast and The Hume.
A 32-year-old North Nowra man was charged with eight counts of supplying an indictable quantity of a prohibited drug; supplying a prohibited drug on an ongoing basis; and supplying a prohibited drug, commercial quantity.
He was refused bail to appear at Nowra Local Court on Friday (August 18).
A 46-year-old North Nowra man was charged with knowingly direct activities of a criminal group, dealing with property proceeds of crime, and supplying an indictable quantity of a prohibited drug.
He was also refused bail to appear at Nowra Local Court on Friday (August 18).
A 27-year-old woman, also arrested in North Nowra, was charged with two counts of taking part in the supply of an indictable quantity of a prohibited drug.
She was granted bail to appear at Nowra Local Court on Monday, September 4.
A 38-year-old Bomaderry man was charged with three counts of supplying a prohibited drug; supplying a prohibited drug on an ongoing basis; and possessing a prohibited drug.
He was refused bail to appear at Nowra Local Court on Friday (August 18).
A 24-year-old Nowra man was charged with supplying a prohibited drug, possessing a prohibited drug and knowingly deal with the proceeds of crime.
He was refused bail to appear at Nowra Local Court on Friday (August 18).
A 50-year-old Nowra woman was charged with seven counts of supplying prohibited drugs; along with two counts of supplying an indictable quantity of a prohibited drug
She was refused bail to appear at Nowra Local Court on Friday (August 18).
Police say the investigations are ongoing and they still have a number of targets they aim to arrest.
