Bomaderry Swamp Rats had a super Saturday last Saturday when the under 13’s dominated the game from start to finish defeating St Georges Basin 52-0. Jarrah McLeod was on fire scoring 3 tries, Gary Pender and Ashton Burns were unstoppable scoring 2 tries each, Drue Johnston, Calib McGillick and Anthony Coslovich each scored a try each. Toby Scotcher and Jeramiah Welsh converted 3 goals each. It was a great attacking display shown by the team.

The under 8’s once again displayed their dominance defeating St Georges Basin 38-4. Kayde Whitfield showed his attacking ability scoring 3 tries. Aiden Beetson, Lincon Crane, Cooper Apps and Nate Bell all ran in a well earned try each. Riley Swain, Cohen White, Nate Bell, Lincon Crane and Kayde Whitfield all had successful conversion attempts.
The under 6’s played a spectacular game defeating Berry Black 32-12. Tyler White once again showed his talent scoring a hat-trick with Scott Reay scoring 2 impressive tries. Nate Crane, Connor Vanamelsvoord, Lachlan Blackmore and Archie Snow all scored a try each in a great team effort. This little team of champions defended extremely well and all their tackling training is paying off.
The under 14 girls put in another strong display defeating Berry 28-8. Summer O’Brien continues to show her class scoring 2 tries. Jordan Preston, Kylie Robinson Amy Ward and Khalesha Falzon were once again consistent scoring 1 try each. Tahlya Monie converted 2 goals. Grace Robinson and Jasmine Smith put in a great defensive game with outstanding tagging which was a massive part of the win.
The under 12’s showed their determination defeating Sussex Inlet 28-18. Dominic Woods was unstoppable scoring 3 tries. Nicholas Iloski and Jacob Flentjar-Clarke each scored a try. Kyeden Booth, Kye Monie and Dominic Woods converted a goal each.
The under 9’s had a nail-biting win defeating St Georges Basin 24-22. In a great team effort Brody Neasbey, Matari Johnson, Caiden Mather and Roman Banfield all scored a try each with Jarrah Thomas, Brody Neasbey, Matari Johnson and Caiden Mather converting the goals.
The under 15’s played a hard fought game but were defeated by Nowra 18-16. Blake Gurney never gave up scoring 2 tries, Ryan Grundy scored 1 try and Dominic Saliba converted 2 goals.
The under 11’s played well but were defeated by Kiama 28-22. Riley Ingram scored 2 very deserved tries with Jackson Ingram and Bailey Gossage scoring a try each. Isaac Kaunicaramaki, Jerome Reay and Jackson Ingram all kicked a goal.
The under 16 girls were defeated by Kiama 24-6. Jess Ward scored their try with Holly Finch converting the goal.
The under 7’s were defeated by St Georges Basin 52-32. The ever consistent John Lamb scored an impressive 3 tries. Kieran Stolk, Mackenzie Neasbey, Lincon Reshe-Whitting, Nathaniel Thompson and Elijah Jennings all scored a try each for the team.
The under 10’s tried their hardest but were defeated by the Stingrays 42-12. Brayden Whitfield and Anthony Matusiak scored a try each and converted the goal.
The under 14’s went down to Gerringong 58-6. Jaiden Moore scored the try with Coban Knight converting the goal.
The Under 12 girls once again never gave up in the game but were defeated by Kiama Red.
