In the three earlier rounds of this year’s Optus series Williams (Bomaderry Vet Hospital/Coffeeliscious) has scored two wins and a fourth.
Williams has 87 points with Hanlon Windows rider Levi Johns in second position on 59 points following a win and a second placing. BaiMed Physio pair Richard Vitiello and Henry Wakeford share third position with 52 points each.
At this early point is the series there are two leaders together at the top of the list with both Bomaderry Vet Hosptial/Coffeeliscious and Hanlon Windows sharing the lead on 100 points each. These were the top two teams at the end of the 2016 series also.
BaiMed Physio and Access Storage are both with striking distance of the lead also and any team could move to a leading position after Sunday’s race, a 42 kilometre handicap on the Braidwood Road short course.
