Needing two runs to win, and with two wickets in hand, Nowra looked poised to claim first innings points at the Berry Sporting Complex. But midway through the 26th over, the umpires deemed the conditions unplayable, due to bad light, forcing the match into a draw.
On day one, which only saw one over bowled due to the rain, Nowra won the toss and sent the hosts in. Berry could only post 76, with Jeff Dudgeon top-scoring with 22. All the damage was done by Jack Watts, who claimed 8/44 for the visitors.
In reply, Nowra also crumbled but committed knocks by Ben Lahene (14) and Adam Weller (16 not out) look destined to see the visitors home, before play was halted. Pick of the bowlers for Berry were Joel Gray with 3/25 and Brad Carey 2/13.
The result leaves Berry and Nowra first and third respectively, heading into the final round.
