Selected works will be displayed throughout the house and garden of Meroogal from September 24 until the end of January.
Presented by Sydney Living Museums since 1998, the Meroogal Women’s Art Prize is an art prize established to showcase the talents of female artists from across NSW.
The prize invites female artists to create works in any medium that respond to Meroogal house and its fascinating history and collection of treasures.
“We’re really encouraging people to respond to the house and the four generations of women that have lived here and their stories,” curator of the prize, Joanna Nicholas said.
