Counting is continuing, with postal votes still to be thrown into the mix but the picture that has emerged shows a much more mixed makeup of council.
In Ward 1, John Wells (Team Gash), Nina Cheyne (Greens) and Andrew Guile (Shoalhaven Independents Group) are across the line. The fourth spot is between Annette Alldrick (Country Labor) and Graham French (Shoalhaven Independents Group).
In Ward 2, Joanna Gash (Team Gash), Greg Watson (Shoalhaven Independents Group) and John Levett (Greens) are in, with Mitchell Pakes (Shoalhaven Independents Group) tipped to pick up the fourth spot.
In Ward 3, Mark Kitchener (Shoalhaven Independents Group), Patricia White (Team Gash) are assured of seats, with Kaye Gartner (Greens) and Bob Proudfoot (Shoalhaven Independents Group) most likely to take the third and fourth spots respectively.
High profile candidates Barry McCaffery (Team Gash) in Ward 2 and Katrina Condie (Team Gash) in Ward 3 failed to get across the line.
