Despite suffering a hard defeat, 66-nil, to the under 20s Australian team, the pair enjoyed their first taste of representative rugby.
“The whole experience was unreal and it was a great feeling to finally wear a country jersey,” Wilson said.
“The guys we played against were pure class and it was good to test ourselves against the top young talent in the country.”
The Cockatoos still have three more games scheduled, starting on June 18 against Brumbies Provincial.
“We've still got three more games, so I'm pretty pumped,” Wilson said.
“As for next year, I'll be at sea but maybe when I come back if I'm still playing well enough, I’ll try out again.”
The last two games are against NSW Suburban on June 25 and Queensland Country on July 2.
