A NOWRA man who pleaded guilty to wielding a knife in a public place, recklessly wounding another man, damaging property, stalking and with being in possession of a knife has been placed on a 12-month good behaviour bond.

Steven George Baxter, 36, of Paluma Way, appeared before Magistrate Michael Stoddart on Monday.
Court documents stated between 4.30pm and 4.45pm on August 17 last year in Kinghorne Street, Nowra he used a knife in the presence of another person in a public place to cause the person to fear for their safety and wounded the person.
Baxter also pleaded guilty to stalk/intimidate intend physical fear in Nowra between 4.55am and 1.53pm on August 17 and with damaging property, smashing a window in a Nowra home.
He also pleaded guilty to possessing a knife in a public place between 2.20am and 2.30am on October 3 last year.
Court documents stated police found him in possession of a black handled hunting knife in Hobart Street Nowra without reasonable excuse.
Magistrate Stoddart placed him on a 12-month good behaviour bond.
