Bomaderry’s Harrison Graham won the boys’ title defeating Bomaderry’s Patrick Muller for the title in an entertaining match.
The first set was hard fought with both players using all the court with aggressive tennis.
Harrison won the vital points to take the set 6/2. In the second set Harrison raised his game yet again and won the set 6/1 with some dominate tennis.
In the girls’ event, last year’s champion Sophie Phillips of Cambewarra won the first set 6/3, keeping the lead throughout with consistent aggressive tennis. In the second set Bomaderry’s India Schreiber slowly worked her way on top and eventually won the set 7/5. India really put her foot down on the accelerator and ran away with the third set and the title, taking the set 6/1.
A big thankyou to Jetts Fitness for their continued support. Also congratulations to all competitors for the fantastic standard of tennis and also great court attitude and sportsmanship.
