The next working bees are Tuesday, February 16 at 10am and Thursday, February 18 at 12:30, both at Nowra Golf Club.
Riverwatch will be extending the Shoalhaven Sand Sausage (continuous sand bag) and planting more mangroves.
Riverwatch has registered for Clean up Australia Day and is getting in early, meeting on Tuesday , March 1 at 8am at Greys Beach boat ramp.
They anticipate having five boats to transport volunteers to various sites along the river and help with the clean up from Nowra Creek to Numbaa Island. The usual barbecue will be held at Greys Beach and spouses are most welcome.
