It is already out on DVD and will be released on Netflix and iTunes from January 22.
Terminus was filmed in Australia, but is set in America.
It is about the discovery of an extra-terrestrial organism that could contain the secret of life.
The main character, David Chamberlain (Jai Koutrae), must complete his task, which he believes is an otherworldly purpose before the government can stop him and the world destroys itself.
Kendra plays the lead female role in her biggest acting job to date alongside fellow Australian actor Todd Lasance, known for many of his acting roles such as Aden in Home and Away, Quick in Cloudstreet and most recently Julian in The Vampire Diaries.
The movie is set in America, however was filmed in a Sydney studio and in country NSW.
“It was a lot more emotionally mature than other shows I have done,” says Kendra.
“There were a fair few stunts and scenes in the water.”
Kendra says she also enjoyed stepping up to the challenge of doing a full length movie.
Kendra says she is excited for film to come out, but she says it was hard to watch herself.

The actress is now waiting for the reaction to Terminus and for the pilot season to kick off before she makes a decision on what to do next.
She will feature in another film that is currently in post production, Blue World Order.
Previously, Kendra has spent time in Germany filming a children’s television show and has made guest appearances on shows such as Rescue Special Ops.
Kendra made a big move toward her acting career in 2012 when she accepted the acting job in Germany, flying home from Europe only two days before taking her Higher School Certificate exams.
Kendra attended St John the Evangelist Catholic High School in Nowra.
After juggling acting and school, Kendra completed her schooling has is now studying a Bachelor of Arts via distance education.
Back at home for Christmas, Kendra has been enjoying the quieter life of the South Coast.
“I’ve lived in the city and I’ve lived overseas,” Kendra says.
“I appreciate it down here.”
Her parents, Graham and Debra Appleton, have supported her acting career and mum, Debra says she was “very proud” of her daughter.
Terminus was written by Marc Furmie, Shiyan Zheng and Gabriel Dowrick.
The film was directed by Marc Furmie and has a runtime of 94 minutes.
