POLICE are appealing for information from the public after a teenager was stabbed in East Nowra.

Around 2pm on Wednesday, four teenage boys were involved in an altercation with a man on Parramatta Street, Nowra.
The man allegedly lashed out with a knife, resulting in a 15-year-old boy sustaining cuts to his torso and arms.
After stabbing the teen, the man left the scene on foot.
Emergency services were called to the location and the 15-year-old was taken to Shoalhaven Hospital for treatment. His injuries were not life-threatening.
The man responsible for the stabbing is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 60s, of medium build and standing between 175cm and 180cm tall.
An investigation into the matter is now underway and detectives would like to hear from anyone with information. Phone Nowra Police on 44219699.
