GARETH Ward, it would appear, has become the official mouthpiece for, in my opinion, the much discredited Shelley Hancock. Forced into making some form of statement about her pledge of a police station for the Bay and Basin, the $1.4 million allocation in the state budget, trumpeted by Gareth Ward as an achievement is a slap in the face for residents on behalf of his neighbouring local member.

Trading on his popularity in Kiama, Gareth Ward has gambled on behalf of Mrs Hancock that her constituents would accept the results of, as stated by Gareth Ward, her lobbying.
My advice to my local member is to stick to what you know and stop propping up a much discredited fellow pollie. Your popularity will quickly fade if you continue to support Shelley Hancock in what appears to be a deceptive action in trying to stall an early and positive outcome in relation to her pledge of a police station in the Bay and Basin.
The choice is yours, stop the spin and provide a positive and timely outcome to the honouring of pledges.
