The Bulldogs upset the Jets in their intense home opener at the Bomaderry Sporting Complex 30-28.
Jets captain coach Ben Wellington acknowledges that his team was hurt after the round one loss.
“That game was pretty important for our boys, as it was the opening game for the whole competition,” Wellington said.
“Obviously there were a few niggles in that game but now we have a chance to turn that around and get some revenge.
“The key is to play some disciplined football and maintain our intensity.”
But Wellington knows it isn’t going to be easy travelling south to Mollymook for the match.
“The Bulldogs are always a tough match-up at home, as it is a bit of a boneyard down there,” he said.
“You can’t go down there expecting to win because more often than not, they are able to grind out results.”
Wellington hopes his team builds on their tough win at the weekend against local rivals Berry.
“We had a really good result against Berry at the weekend,” he said.
“It’s always a big game against them and it’s usually a good litmus test to see how we are actually going as a team.
“Berry was a little off in the first half last week but we were able to grind it out when they came back at us in the second half.
“I was really impressed with our forward pack, who stood up as a unit and toughed it out in the middle.
“Sean Lynch is getting through a huge workload recently, chalking up more than 30 tackles and 20 hit-ups per match.
“John Carey was also solid last week and we will need another big game form him this week.
“Without Matt Rouen, who is sick at the moment, we have missed his slick combination with Kurt Quinlan in the middle.
“But with the way Kurt is linking up with Geoff Johnson and Steve Brandon, it makes us dangerous attacking both sides of the field.”
The Jets will be without the services of forward James Toovey for one week, who hs sustained an ankle injury.
