President of the Shoalhaven Business Chamber Nicole Francis launched the awards to a packed room at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre.
One of the biggest changes from previous years has been the change in category choices.
“We have made it a whole lot easier for local businesses to enter,” Ms Francis said of the new, streamlined online entry form.
The entrants do not have to be a business chamber member and the awards are open to all businesses operating in the Shoalhaven.
The 16 different categories are business leader, young business leader, young entrepreneur, business of year, employer of choice, excellence in tourism and hospitality, excellence in business (more than 20 full-time employees), excellence in professional and commercial sectors, excellence in small business (less than 20 full-time employees), excellence in sustainability, excellence in innovation, excellence in community service – not for profit, excellence in business ethics, excellence in customer service, outstanding home-based business and excellence in building and construction.
For more information visit www.shoalhavenbusinesschamber.com.au or phone Nicole Mallos on 0413 052 654. Entries close at 5pm on July 31.
The awards night will be held at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre on Friday, September 4.
