Athletes battled heat, rain and wind at the state championships with the local athletes proudly wearing the Nowra colours.
Cristine Suffolk added yet another medal to her vast collection with a silver in the 5000 metre event for 45-49 years in a time of 20.48.10 minutes.
Also running 5000 metres was Sharon Scouller who ran in third in the 50-54 years event in a time of 22.41.14.
Sprinting her way to three medals over the weekend was the speedy Lynda Douglass.
Lynda won silver in both the 50-54 years 60 metre and 100 metre events and she also secured a bronze in the 200 metres.
Deb Clark speared a bronze medal in her first Masters Championships with a throw of 20.54 metres in the 50-54 years javelin.
The sole male representative from Nowra was Bill Pomplun who came away with three medals from the meet.
Bill won silver in the 55-59 years 3000 metre steeplechase, another silver in the 5000metre walk and a bronze in the shot.
