FIRST grade may have taken a week off, but the lower grades offered plenty of excitement, with four centuries in hit in the Shoalhaven on Saturday.

Nowra second grade skipper Jono Clack carried his bat in his run-a-ball knock of 135 against Ulladulla United at Ulladulla Sports Park.
Clack was on song, hitting 19 fours and four sixes, but struggled to keep batting partners at the other hand.
The next highest score apart from Clack was Adam Weller on 18 as Nowra posted a first innings total of 230.
Clack said he was relieved to get a century after a relatively quiet season with the bat in 2013-14.
“I had a pretty bad run last season, so it was good to get some runs on the board early,” he said.
“It was a bit strange, you don’t usually expect to go out and carry your bat,” he added.
Clack’s last century came in the 2012/13 season when he made 104 not out against Bomaderry, while he made his highest score of 147 playing in third grade.
“As soon as I got to three-figures I had my eye on the 147,” he said.
“But I ran out of partners, so I didn’t get the chance!”
While he was a little bit disappointed not to beat his highest score, Clack said he was absolutely stoked with his tally and is hoping it is a sign of things to come.
Another two centuries were made in third grade, courtesy of Paul Davidson from North Nowra-Cambewarra and Mal Windley from Berry-Shoalhaven Heads.
Davidson made the most of a couple of missed chances on his way to scoring 142 against Bomaderry at Artie Smith Oval.
It was the first time the 46-year-old had ever reached triple figures in any level of cricket.
Windley made 105 at the top of the order against Batemans Bay at Hanging Rock.
His innings included nine fours and five sixes.
In fourth grade, it was Nowra Green skipper Garhame Morris who stole the show, scoring 109 against Ulladulla United at the Added Area.
