MOTORISTS are being urged to take extreme care on roads due to the wet weather in the area, with local police called to a number of accidents on Monday morning.

A male truck driver had a lucky escape when his pantechnicon left the roadway and rolled on Culburra Road on Monday morning.
Police at the scene said the truck was travelling east towards Culburra Beach, when it left the road just east of Pyree Lane, and came to rest on its side on the opposite side of the road.
Traffic was held up for a short time until the truck was righted.
Police are also attending an accident on the Princes Highway at Wandandian where a car has run into a tree.
The driver has been airlifted to Sydney for treatment.
