Police hunt for nursing home intruder

NOWRA detectives are looking for a man who broke into a Wallace Street nursing home on Saturday night.

The man entered the home at 9.40pm and walked through the courtyard before entering a building.

He went into a number of rooms where he rummaged through drawers.

Two residents confronted the man and escorted him from the building.

Investigators from Shoalhaven Local Area Command would like to speak to a man who may be able to help with their investigation.

He is described as having an olive complexion, about 180cm tall, thin build, short dark hair in a mohawk style, wearing dark clothing and having a tattoo on his inner left arm.
