A technical issue has affected power supply to ABC and SBS services at the Knights Hill transmission tower, which is one of the towers local television signals are received from.
This means some viewers may be experiencing poor reception of ABC and SBS or not receiving the two channels at all.
Engineers are continuing to work to restore power levels and work will need to occur overnight.
ABC and SBS services will be off air between midnight and 5.30am Wednesday, June 11.
Once services are restored, viewers will be able to re-tune their TV to receive the full range of digital TV channels.
If viewers have already re-tuned, they may have to re-tune again after 5:30am Wednesday to bring back ABC and SBS.
All other services are not affected.
For more information about the re-tune visit the website, www.digitalready.gov.au/retune, or call the Digital Ready Information Line on 1800 20 10 13.
