Turpentine Road at Tomerong was the big winner, receiving a further $824,000 towards the sealing of the road. Together with a previous $2 million funding commitment for sealing, it will allow between 6.6 and 9.6km to be tarred west of the Princes Highway.
A number of projects are planned for the Princes Highway.
At Bewong, $1 million will be spent providing super elevation, curve alignment markers and curve advisory signs from 440 metres north to 550 metres south of The Wool Road.
At Milton, $90,000 will be spent at Corks Lane, removing hazards from the clear zone.
At Jerrawangala, curve alignment markers and signage will be installed from three to six kilometres south of Sussex Inlet Road, valued at $80,000.
Further south at East Lynne, $1 million will be spent removing hazards from the clear zone, installing guardrails and shoulder widening works from 100 metres to 600 metres north of Pebbly Beach Road.
In Nowra, a mountable roundabout will be installed at the intersection of Kinghorne and Douglas streets.
