BBASC members joined the best in the South Eastern Swimming Area to battle it out at the 2014 SESA Short Course Area Championships and Winter Sprints last weekend in Ulladulla.

Congratulations to Jasmine Greenwood who was awarded the female multiclass swimmer of the meet.
Jasmine swam to gold and a personal best in the women’s open 50 metre butterfly finals, gold in the women open 50 metre breaststroke finals and ninth in the 50 metres freestyle.
Jasmine also chose to step it up and compete as an exhibition swimmer in the 100 metre breaststroke and the 200 metre freestyle.
Conor McLean walked away with the highest medal tally for the club including one silver and four bronze inclusive of three personal bests in the hotly contested 13 year boys age group.
Girls swim club captain Annalise McDonald achieved three personal bests resulting in three silver medals and a bronze while the boy captain Jay Bellwood achieved gold in the boys 15 years 100 metre breaststroke and a personal best and silver 15 years 50 metre backstroke.
Tara Bellwood and Gabi Peterson achieved personal bests in all of their races. Tara came away with two silver medals and Gabi with one.
Felicity Hector continued improving her times with a personal best in the 50 metre breaststroke and breaking the 40 second mark for the first time in the 50 metre freestyle.
Janae Peterson achieved three personal bests and Hannah Thompson two personal bests with their contribution leading to the Bay and Basin placing eighth out of 14 cubs in the premiership.
