One athlete, Kalvin Bown, had an outstanding year.
Kalvin broke two club records for the 50 metres and long jump, three zone district records for the 100 and 200 metres, and long jump, and also broke records in the 100 metres at regional.
Kalvin won three trophies and four medals at the St Georges Basin Little Athletics presentation, which brings his total for 2013/14 to 34 gold, six silver, two bronze and six trophies.
Kalvin’s ambition is to one day represent Australia in the Olympics.
