Kiama ran away with the match in the second half posting six tries to add to their three tries in the first half.
They led 21-5 at the half-time break but rattled the scoreboard in a vigorous second half display that saw them add a further 40 points to run out winners by 61-12.
Shoals tried hard for the game but were outweighed, outsped and outmuscled by a more than useful Kiama side.
The Sproule brothers again enjoyed their day out in the forwards while Phil Duncan stood out with his ball and all tackling and his booming kicks.
Again Tui Aberhama was a constant force in motion and tackled and ran with the ball with his normal energetic enthusiasm.
Shoals were also blessed to have a visiting Liam Allen, return for a cameo role in his favoured break away position.
He played as if the years had melted away and featured strongly with his devastating runs and crashing tackles.
The first half was reasonably even with Kiama gaining the edge when Shoals turned the ball over at the break down.
This allowed Kiama to get their backline up and running with most of their tries being scored by their wingers.
Their kicker was on song converting eight of their nine tries which certainly weighed down their side of the scoreboard.
However Shoals did manage to post a try in each half with some useful open rugby, and as they get fitter and their combinations improve, they will more than hold their own as the season progresses.
Best players for Shoals were Tui Aberhama, Phil Duncan and Liam Allen.
