Jervis Bay crash: police call for witnesses

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a serious accident on Jervis Bay Road on Saturday morning to come forward.

A 46-year-old woman from Worrigee was airlifted to St George Hospital in Sydney following the crash.

The ambulance rescue helicopter was called from Albion Park, with the crew treating the woman, who was flown to St Georges Hospital with suspected pelvic and internal injuries.

The Vincentia woman was taken to Shoalhaven District Hospital with chest pains and minor lacerations.

Police have asked anyone who saw the crash asked to call them on 4421 9699 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
