A BOMADERRY man, who was allegedly armed with a pistol during a hold-up in Bomaderry last year appeared in Nowra Local Court on Tuesday.

Aiden Rhys Carter, 19, of Princes Highway, was charged over the robbery of the Woolworths Caltex Service Station in Bomaderry on October 26 last year.
Mr Carter was arrested by Shoalhaven detectives attached to Strike Force Ganora, established to investigate the robbery, and charged with robbery while armed with a dangerous weapon, a pistol.
The court heard Carter allegedly entered the service station, demanding money before robbing the console operator of $300 cash while being armed with a pistol.
During the course of investigations police also obtained further evidence of an alleged sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl and charged Carter with aggravated sexual assault – victim under the age of 16 years.
Magistrate Dr Gabriel Fleming continued conditional bail. Carter will reappear in Nowra Local Court on April 8.
