A MAN accused of using his car to pin a woman against a fence and continuing to spin the wheels was again refused bail in Nowra Local Court on Tuesday.

Steven Michael Ogden, 35, of Young Avenue, Nowra appeared before Magistrate Susan McGowan over an incident on November 19 in Jervis Street, East Nowra, where it was alleged he became involved in an argument with parents outside a school after nearly running over a child on the nature strip.
Police alleged Ogden then went to a nearby address in Wallace Street where he assaulted a woman and her son, using a Suzuki Vitara four-wheel-drive to ram the woman and pin her against a metal fence.
He was charged with a number of offences including aggravated break and enter to commit an indictable offence, stalk and intimidate, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, furious driving causing bodily harm, burnout, affray, threaten injury to a person with the intention of committing an indictable offence, use an offensive instrument, a motor vehicle, with the intent to commit the indictable offence of assault, drive while suspended.
Ogden did not apply for bail, which was formally refused by Magistrate McGowan. The matter is set down for Nowra Local Court on March 18 for possible committal.
