A 35-year-old Bomaderry man is facing court after making more than 50 abusive phone calls to Nowra Police Station on Friday.

The calls were made from the man’s mobile phone between 5pm and 6pm and each contained threats and offensive language.
At 6.05pm police found the man behind a tree in Lions Park, Bomaderry.
He continued abusing and threatening the officers and was arrested after a short chase.
During the arrest, the man continued to resist and kick out at officers.
He was refused bail and appeared at a bail court hearing on Saturday where he was remorseful.
He was given bail at that hearing to next appear at Nowra Local Court on March 3.
