A 19-YEAR-OLD Bomaderry man, who was allegedly armed with a pistol during an armed hold-up in Bomaderry last year, was granted conditional bail in Nowra Local Court on Monday.

Aiden Rhys Carter, of Princes Highway, Bomaderry, was charged over the alleged robbery of the Woolworths Caltex Service Station in Bomaderry on October 26 last year.
Shoalhaven detectives attached to Strike Force Ganora, which was established to investigate the robbery, arrested Mr Carter at 10.30pm on Friday.
He was taken to Nowra Police Station and after being charged was initially refused bail by police to appear in Nowra Local Court on Monday.
Carter was charged with robbery while armed with a dangerous weapon, a pistol.
The court heard Carter allegedly entered the service station, demanding money before robbing the console operator of $300 cash while being armed with a pistol.
During the course of investigations police also obtained further evidence of an alleged sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl and charged Carter with aggravated sexual assault – victim under the age of 16 years.
Carter reapplied for bail when he appeared in Nowra Local Court on Monday, with Magistrate Dr Gabriel Fleming granting conditional bail to reappear in Nowra Local Court on March 18.
