The Shoalhaven area has a number of events to choose from on New Year’s Eve (Tuesday December 31).
The Huskisson New Year’s Eve fireworks display at Voyager Park is open to the public as a free event proudly sponsored by Shoalhaven City Council, the Huskisson Chamber of Commerce and the Jervis Bay Lions Club.
The event runs from 7pm to 9.30pm.
The Shoalhaven City Turf Club will be staging its popular New Year’s Eve race meeting and fireworks and the gates open at noon.
People can come and enjoy an afternoon at the races, followed by entertainment and then fireworks in the evening.
There will be great music, chances to win prizes, there are onsite bookies, TAB, cafe and a restaurant.
The fireworks and New Year’s Eve event at the Berry Showground is always popular.
This fun night starts at 5pm and is jam packed with entertainment for the whole family and there will be free children’s games, entertainment, stalls, carnival rides, and displays.
People can also join in the fun on New Year’s Eve at the Ulladulla Harbour.
This annual free community event has it all – location, ambience, easy access and parking.
Picnic on the foreshore, dance, enjoy the music, stroll through the carnival and soak up the atmosphere.
Fireworks starts at 9pm.
