The NSW State Emergency Service has issued a renewed possible severe weather warning.
There is a high chance of showers across the South Coast for the rest of the week, with cloudy conditions and light winds persisting throughout.
The BoM has predicted 47 mm of rainfall in Nowra from Thursday to Sunday, with the majority predicted to hit on Friday.
Ulladulla is predicted to receive around 43 mm of rain, with Friday also appearing to be the largest downpour with 15-25 mm expected.
Batemans Bay is also anticipated to receive about 47 mm of rain, with Friday and Saturday expected to be the wettest days with an average of 10-20mm.
Daytime temperatures will range between 17 and 23, while nighttime temperatures will fall to between 10 - 15.
NSW SES reported that isolated showers and thunderstorms will feature across the majority of the state this week, with the severity of which being varied.
It is said to increase in the north/northeast region of the state heading into the weekend.
The BoM has noted a ridge of high pressure extending along the NSW coast with a trough lying over the far west and south.
This trough could move as a cold front bringing with it described "unsettled conditions".
A strong wind warning was issued this morning by BOM this morning for the Sydney Coast, Illawarra Coast, Batemans Coast and Eden Coast.
Residents are advised to exercise care if participating in surfing, ocean swimming and rock fishing as the high winds and rough seas can be amplified in these forecast adverse conditions.
Sydney and it's surrounding areas have accumulated 931.6 mm of rain this year, which is the second wettest start to any year in history.
