If it's tears of sadness, being away from your little gem, or tears of happiness because the siblings will have less time to argue with each other, who knows?
As the children get back into the mode of following the school rules, there are other rules in which the grown-ups have to remind themselves of too.

For whoever may be coming or going from the school. Teachers, parents and of course the children.
As parents or guardians, we are always sure to teach our children the rules of the road like using the crossing if available and looking before you cross the road.
We have to remember to set safe examples for our little ones by adhering to the traffic laws ourselves.
Most school zone speed limits decrease to 40km/h.
We must also be aware of any zebra crossings near schools and ensure to stop for any students who may be crossing.
The last thing we want our children to remember from the first day of school is that mum or dad got an infringement notice for $365 and lost four demerits points, or even worse someone getting injured because someone was not obeying the road rules.
So let's remember these days for the happy smiles we see from the children as they take the next step on their adventure.
