All of the association's events were called off last year, but they are looking forward to getting back into the surf in 2022.
Two events, Mollymook on February 26 and Gerroa on March 13, are planned this year.
Registrations for both events are now open
The surf days are a fun surfing experience for any person with a disability, no matter how challenging, with complete water supervision.
Disabled surfing is about helping individuals with a disability to get into the surf and feel the freedom of catching a wave in a safe environment.
The DSA provides a safe surfing experience to all in the community with a disability.
Volunteers are needed for this to occur. You do not need to know how to surf.
If you can stand waist deep in the water you can help.
Contact the group on Facebook to ask about becoming a volunteer.
